I have been living in Lake Tahoe for 15+ years. I'm a year-round resident and spend my winters in the mountains and my summers on the lake.
I've been working as a kayak guide for 10+ years. I earned my trip leader certification as a kayak and paddleboard guide by working for a local company, leading trips on the North and East shores of Lake Tahoe. My love of Lake Tahoe and paddleboarding lead me to open my own paddleboarding rental business.
I love paddleboarding for the great perspective that paddleboards give you, being able to peer down into the crystal clear Lake Tahoe waters while standing. The perspective gained from a standing position on a paddleboard allows the paddler to easily enjoy all the amazing jeweled colors that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Paddleboarding truly is the ultimate way to experience Lake Tahoe. I love helping visitors and locals experience paddleboarding on Lake Tahoe, it's world-renowned beauty is truly best experienced from a paddleboard.

Tahoe Paddleboards is a delivery-only paddleboard rental company, servicing all of Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Our goal is to bring the joy of Lake Tahoe to visitors from near and far. I enjoy offering local insights and knowledge regarding paddlesports to visitors of Lake Tahoe. Often when renting paddleboards at a beachside rental location, the personal touch of an experienced paddler's insight can be lost due to high crowds and restricted locations. When renting from Tahoe Paddleboards, customers get delivery directly to their location and have the option of renting for multiple days in order to make the most of their time. Having paddleboards at your disposal for the duration of your stay will give you the opportunity to use the equipment at any time of day. My favorite times of day to get out on the lake are early in the morning, before boat traffic, and in the evening during the alpenglow and sunset hours. In addition to all-hour access, I am also excited to share local knowledge of some of my favorite paddleboard destinations and trip-planning ideas.

No matter what kind of vehicle you have, we can help you figure out how to best transport your paddleboards. Even if your car does not have a rack, we have padded straps that will enable you to put paddleboards on the roof of your car.
